About this car

This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa remained with its original owner until 2022 and now shows 10k miles. It is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Guards Red over black leatherette and cloth. Features include a removable roof panel, 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a power-height-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, and air conditioning.

The car left the factory finished in Guards Red (L80K) and has a removable roof panel, integrated fog lights, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, a heated rear window, and rear bumper overriders. Part of the right side of the car is believed to have been repainted under previous ownership, and an area of touched-up paint is noted on the rear-right wheel arch. Photos of paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below.

The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Yokohama tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The brake fluid was changed in early 2025.

The seats are upholstered in black leatherette with Porsche-script cloth inserts, and interior features include air conditioning, cruise control, and power-height adjustment for the driver’s seat. The headliner for the Targa top has been replaced. The Blaupunkt stereo does not work.

The four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The steering column bushing was replaced in 2025.
